Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Nature of Digital Goods

At Gen AI Bharat, our primary offerings consist of digital interactive ebooks, downloadable PDF workbooks, Python starter code repositories, and educational curriculum guides for school students (Class 6 to 12).

Because digital publications and software packs are delivered immediately upon payment completion, our refund and cancellation terms are designed to be fair, transparent, and aligned with Indian Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules and payment gateway guidelines.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

We provide a 100% full refund under the following circumstances:

  • Technical Corrupted File or Download Inability: If the delivered digital PDF file or code repository archive is corrupted, incomplete, or fails to open on standard PDF readers, and our technical support team is unable to provide a functional replacement within 24 hours of your support ticket.
  • Duplicate / Erroneous Billing: If your bank account or UPI handle was debited more than once for the same single purchase due to a payment gateway timeout or network glitch.
  • Pre-Order Cancellation: For upcoming volumes on pre-order (prior to official release), you may cancel your reservation and request a 100% full refund at any time before the digital download link is delivered to your inbox.

3. Refund Window & Timeline

7-Day Resolution Window

Refund requests for defective or non-delivered digital goods must be submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase.

5–7 Business Days Credit

Once approved, your refund is credited back directly to the original payment source (UPI / NetBanking / Card) within 5 to 7 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following scenarios:

  • Change of mind after the digital ebook has already been successfully downloaded and accessed. (We provide extensive free chapter excerpts on our website so parents and students can inspect the content quality before purchasing).
  • Inability to execute Python code due to unsupported third-party computer hardware where standard Python 3.10+ environments are available.
  • Purchases made with third-party fraudulent intentions or violations of our anti-piracy terms.

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To request a refund or cancel an active pre-order, simply email our support desk with your details:

  1. Send an email to admin@genaibharat.com with the subject: Refund Request - [Your Order ID].
  2. Include your registered email address, date of purchase, and a brief description of the technical issue or reason for cancellation.
  3. Our support team will review and acknowledge your request within 24 hours.
